LOCAL ENTREPRENEUR RECIEVES #WOW AWARD FROM JACQUELINE GOLD CBE

On 15th December 2021, Debbie Bere from Appledore, Burlescombe was recognised by British businesswoman, Jacqueline Gold CBE, for her success as a female entrepreneur, and awarded with a prestigious #WOW badge.

Women on Wednesday (#WOW) takes place every week and is run through Jacqueline’s Twitter and Instagram page. When selecting the winners, Jacqueline looks for businesses that are interesting, that have strong brand values and that she thinks have potential to grow and succeed in their industry. She looks for quality products and services, well designed websites and entrepreneurs who demonstrate good business acumen and who have spotted a gap in the market that meets the consumer’s needs.

Sex Debbie, as she is known, delivers sex education not only to educational settings but to adults, parent groups and clubs. “Sex and relationship education is all encompassing. Social norms has made it seem embarrassing and shameful, so asking for advice becomes awkward, by creating and open space to learn, ask questions and both improve and maintain our relationships Sex Debbie hopes to promote pleasure, safety, equality and positivity surrounding sex”
